Toms River, NJ, December 10, 2018: Action Termite and Pest Control is saddened to announce that we have lost a member of our team. Sarah the bed bug dog, New Jersey’s First Bed Bug Dog, passed away yesterday peacefully at her home. Sarah was featured in the Los Angeles Times and many more media outlets for her incredible abilities and the fact that she helped thousands of Action Customers become bed bug free.
“Sarah was a beautiful dog. She loved to work and play. We were very proud of the fact that Sarah was a rescue. She receive over 500 hours of training to become a bed bug dog and she helped so many of our customers over the years,” commented John Russell, President of Action Termite and Pest Control. “She was the first of her kind in New Jersey and she will be missed greatly.”
Sarah had been retired for the past several years but had left an indelible impact on Action Termite and Pest Control and everyone that met her. She will be truly missed. Rest in Peace Sarah!
